The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has initiated an investigation and manhunt after a black Toyota Hilux belonging to the Office of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, was stolen during Friday's Juma'at prayers in Abuja. The vehicle was parked opposite the Abuja Municipal Area Council complex in Area 10 while an ONSA official attended prayers at a nearby mosque.

The theft was discovered when the official returned to find the vehicle missing, and it was promptly reported to the Garki Police Division. In response, the FCT Police Command launched a city-wide stop-and-search operation across multiple checkpoints and entry and exit points in Abuja.

Investigation and Recovery Efforts

The police spokesperson confirmed the ongoing investigation, assuring the public that every effort is being made to identify the suspects and recover the stolen vehicle. The Command has intensified its search to track down those responsible. According to Zagazola Makama, a security analyst, the police responded immediately after the incident was reported.
