Taye Adebisi, popularly known as Taye Currency, a Fuji musician, has revealed how he lost N10 million to a Ponzi scheme called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX). He blamed four of his close associates, identified as Sodiq, Small London, Lateef, and another unnamed associate, for luring him into the fraudulent investment.
According to Taye Currency, Sodiq visited him on April 1 to share how others, including Lateef, had already invested large sums and made significant returns. Lateef allegedly claimed to have turned N200,000 into N600,000, which convinced Taye Currency to invest his insurance savings into the scheme. Unfortunately, all the money vanished, leaving him devastated.
In an emotional outburst, Taye Currency cursed those who introduced him to the scheme, expressing his frustration and disappointment. He lamented that he was minding his business before they brought CBEX to him.
