“It Will Be on a Sunday” – Pastor Adeboye Shares Prophetic Insight About the Day He Will Die

Renowned General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has made a stunning revelation regarding the day he believes he will pass on.

During the evening session on Day 4 of the 73rd Annual Convention of RCCG, themed “The Overcomers,” the highly respected cleric prophesied that his death will occur on a Sunday—after attending church service, worshipping, and eating a hearty meal.

“It’s going to be on a Sunday. I would go to church for service, dance very well and return home. I will eat pounded yam, then I will go,” he told the congregation.

Although he did not disclose the specific date, Pastor Adeboye encouraged members not to mourn excessively or question the timing of his death. Instead, he urged the church to celebrate a life well spent in God’s service.

He further emphasized that death doesn't always have to come through sickness, and that one can peacefully transition after fulfilling divine purpose.

Switching focus to the theme of prosperity, the pastor cited 2 Corinthians 8:9, stressing that wealth is the portion of believers and that poverty is a tool used by the devil to hinder the gospel.

“Reject poverty in all its forms. It is not God’s will for His children to suffer lack,” he added.

This profound message left many in awe, reminding Christians to live prepared and purposefully.
