Fashion model and influencer Papaya Ex has finally spoken out about the backlash she received for her outfit at Priscilla Ojo's traditional wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. The controversy surrounding her dress, which featured the groom's photo on her chest and the bride's at her waist, sparked widespread criticism.
In a recent video with content creator Egungun of Lagos, Papaya Ex claimed that Nigerians tend to sexualize everything, suggesting that she would have faced criticism regardless of her outfit choice. She revealed that the dress cost a staggering 4.5 million naira.
Papaya Ex, who is now based in Dubai, also shared some insight into her life abroad, mentioning that she pays 12 million naira in rent. The influencer's comments come after Priscilla Ojo questioned the outfit choice, and Papaya Ex apologized, stating it was all done out of love.
