Folks with this message from the New York Times archives , it’s very clear now that Obafemi Awolowo was one of the main coup plotters of 1966 that was tagged as an Igbo coup whiwhich lead to Igbo pogrom and eventually lead to Nigerian/Biafra civil war .
We have to tell ourselves the truth , was it not Ladoke Akintola , Sarduna Ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa were responsible for the arrest of Obafemi Awolowo ?
Then think about this , why is it that all these Awolowo enemies were all killed during the coup, that is what BBC and the Nigerian Yoruba media have tried so hard to hide for five decades.
