What started as a “Happy Birthday” message from a stranger has turned into a fairytale love story for a Nigerian lady, Erica Kachi.
According to Erica, it all began when a random man slid into her DM on her birthday with the bold words:
“Happy Birthday Erica… I don’t know you, but you’re my wife.”
Annoyed, Erica thought he was just another online clown and immediately blocked him.
But destiny had other plans.
She revealed that despite being blocked, the man didn’t give up. He later created another account, kept reaching out respectfully, and waited patiently until she gave him a chance.
His consistency and boldness eventually melted Erica’s heart, and just a year later, the same man she once dismissed as a joke became the love of her life. Today, they are happily married.
From “blocked” to “wifed” Erica’s story has since gone viral as proof that sometimes, love shows up in the most unexpected ways.
