Grammy-nominated artist Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has reconciled with his father, Mr. Fatai Odunsi, after a public appeal for help. Asake has pledged to cover his father's medical bills and purchase a new house for him.
The reconciliation comes after Mr. Odunsi, who suffered a stroke and was paralyzed, alleged that Asake had abandoned him and not seen him since March 2022. However, in a recent interview, Mr. Odunsi confirmed that Asake has reached out and they have resolved their issues.
Speaking in Yoruba, Mr. Odunsi expressed pride in his son and offered prayers, stating that he spoke out because it had been a long time since they last saw each other. He revealed that Asake has initiated plans to buy him a house through real estate agents and has committed to taking full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.
The development has been met with relief and joy from fans and well-wishers, who are celebrating the reunion of Asake and his father.
