Breaking: Bandits Attack Military Bases in Niger and Kaduna Soldiers Killed in Fierce Battle

The Nigerian Army has confirmed a devastating attack on its forward operating bases in Niger and Kaduna states, resulting in the death of several soldiers and leaving others wounded. The attacks, which occurred on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, targeted military outposts in:  

- Kwanar Dutse Mairiga and Boka (Niger State)

- Aungwan Turai, Chikun LGA (Kaduna State)

According to an official statement, the bandits launched a three-pronged assault on the military bases. In response, the Nigerian Army swiftly mobilized land and air troops, engaging the terrorists in a fierce battle that lasted hours.
