According to an X user, Sango Olukoso who is an independent tracker, a victim who entered a Sienna from Lekki going to Oshodi was abducted by kidnappers and taken to unknown location. He was contacted alongside security agencies and they managed to track them down and rescue the victim.
He narrated the experience below
"Someone got kidnapped and ransom was requested, dey kept using the victims phone to make a phone call, but the kidnappers snoozed along the line, they used the same suspects phone to call a POS vendor, impossible yh? But not to worry, i suggested we tracked the pos vendor, we got hold of him, and told him to tell the kidnappers the ransom has been paid, we thinking they will come and collect the money in cash, (4million naira), they sent another pos account to receive the money, that location was Ijanikin, immediately i tracked that also, got the pos lady told her to tell them the money has been sent, unfortunately for them, they used their own phone number to call the pos lady, we were able to track them into a bushy area at Ijanikin, Victim rescued, kidnappers arrested... Oldest age was 30years old, victim entered Sienna from Lekki going towards Oshodi, and blacked out. Watch the cars u enter commuters.”
