Popular actor and social media personality, Lege Miami, has publicly called out Afrobeats star Asake over allegations of neglecting his father, whose health is reportedly deteriorating.
In a recent video, Lege Miami revealed that Asake’s father personally reached out to him again, explaining why he called out his son. According to Lege, Asake had rented an apartment for his father two years ago and gifted him a Lexus RX 330, but has since failed to visit or maintain direct contact. With his rent now due and his health declining, Asake’s father has been relying on general hospital for treatment.
Lege Miami further disclosed that the man insists his intention is not to demand financial assistance from his son but simply to reconnect and speak with him. He claimed that multiple attempts to contact Asake failed, leaving him with no choice but to publicly call out his son in a bid to get his attention.
This issue has sparked reactions across social media, with many fans questioning the singer’s stance on family responsibility. Asake, is yet to speak again after his previous response.
